JAMMU, Sept 16: All arrangements have been finalized for the successful conduct of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) for the year 2022. About ten thousand students are expected to appear in the JUET scheduled to be held on September 18, 2022 (Sunday) for admission to various Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes at Main Campus, Offsite Campuses and Affiliated Colleges.
The entrance test is being conducted all over J&K and Examination Centres have been set up at far-off stations like Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Srinagar besides Poonch, Rajouri, Kathua, Udhampur and Jammu.
In this connection, a series of orientation programmes were held in the Committee Room of Dean Academic Affairs (DAA) chaired by DAA, Prof. Naresh Padha along with Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Examination (CoE).
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Naresh Padha appealed all the members present in the meeting to ensure successful conduct of the Entrance Test slated for September 18, 2022. He apprised the members about steps to be taken for hassle-free conduct of JUET.
Sanjeev Mahajan requested all the Principals, who are also overall In-charge of JUET in respective colleges about the instructions to be followed for the successful conduct of JUET in various Centres and instruction manuals were distributed among all the Observers.
Another brainstorming session of Observers was held today and chaired by the DAA and CoE.
The Observers were briefed about steps to be taken for JUET-2022 in accordance with the Instruction Manual. Discussions were held to meet various logistics for the smooth conduct of JUET at different centres.
Deputy Registrar (Exam-Conduct) and Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), Dr. Sumita Sharma coordinated the orientation programme of Principals of the Colleges and Observers of JUET-2022.
