JAMMU, Mar 25: Arrangements for “Chhari Mubarak Yatra” to Purmandal-Utterbehni Shrines followed by a 3-day fair, were discussed, here today during a combined meeting of members of Purmandal-Utterbehni Shrines Development Committee, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Dogra Sadar Sabha and Langar Sewa Samiti, Bari Brahmna, which was held under the chairmanship of Th Gulchain Singh Charak.
The meet decided that Puja-Archana of holy Chharies will be performed at 5:00 PM in Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Parade Ground, Jammu on April 3 while on April 4, the holy Chharies will be taken to Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir and then to Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar in the evening.
Thereafter, the holy Chharies will be taken to historical shrines at Purmandal in a beautifully decorated Rath along with hundreds of devotees in private buses, cars, two-wheelers, etc, via Mahadev Mandir Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Mandir Trikuta Nagar, Shiv Mandir Greater Kailash, Narsingh Dev Mandir Birpur and Kharah Madana. At the holy Purmandal shrines, a 3-days fair will be arranged.
