JAMMU, Feb 25: District Development Commissioner Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu reviewed the arrangements of two days Employment Fair, scheduled to be held from March 10, at a meeting here today. The two days employment fair being organized by Employment Department will be held in Dussehra Ground Gandhi Nagar.
Threadbare discussion was held on vital issues to make the two days event a successful event.
It was informed that various departments and the financial institutions are participating in the fair besides interactive sessions for targeted groups and stakeholders would also be a part of the fair.
DDC enjoined upon the officers to maintain close coordination for smooth conduct of the employment fair. He said that the fair would be organized on a large scale in which different departments will establish stalls to create awareness among the masses, particularly unemployed youth, regarding various employment generating schemes to motivate and encouraging them for establishing their own income generating units.
