JAMMU, Sept 5: Committee members for Globathon Walk held a meeting today, where arrangements were finalized for the smooth conduct of “Globathon Walk” scheduled to be held on September 29.
The meeting was attended by Santosh Magotra, Rampal Sharma, SK Jain, Darminder Singh, Dr Kasturi Lal and Vivek Sharma.
While speaking, the members of the committee informed that the walk will start from three different locations–University of Jammu, Government Women College Gandhi Nagar and Government Women College Parade.
The walk will commence at 8:30 am and the participants are required to assemble at 8 am positively for a briefing from group leader, they added.
The walk would culminate at stadium around 10:30 am, where the participants would be informed about the reasons for this walk and their contribution in their success story for prevention of cancer in women, they informed.
They added that participating agencies whether NGOs or other well-wishers will have to be evolved for accomplishment of goal.
