JAMMU, May 15: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir front J&K was held here today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita to review arrangements of Jeshtha Ashthami Kheer-Bhawani Mela, scheduled to be held on June 6, 2014.
The meeting appealed the Government to make arrangements of free SRTC buses for the poor yatries to proceed to Tulamulla on June 5, 2014, as a large number of yatries are expected to visit sacred place of Mata Kheer-Bhawani on the eve of Zeshtha Ashthami.
The meeting also demanded the Government to grant necessary route permission and security to the private buses, which shall leave from Jammu to Mata Kheer-Bhawani on June 4, 2014 and return back on June 8, 2014.
Shadi Lal Pandita also appealed the Government for making proper arrangements of transport and security as per past practice.
