JAMMU, May 25: A meeting of members of managing committee of Ardh Ratri Maha Raghneya Sewa Sanstha Trust was held at Kheer Bhawani Peeth, Janipur to review the arrangements for ‘Mela Kheer Bhawani’ scheduled to be held on June 6th, 2014.
It was informed that all the concerned State departments viz; Jammu Municipality, PHE, PDD, Police and traffic, fire service, JAKFED and Health Department have been requested to make suitable arrangements at the Sidh Peeth in view of heavy number of devotees who are likely to visit the shrine to offer their prayers on this occasion.
It may be recalled that Jaisht Ashtami ( Mela Kheer Bhawani) being the most auspicious festival of Kashmiri Pandit community, sub-committees have already been formed for providing various facilities the visiting devotees on this occasion.
After the day long mela and pooja archana by devotees in the holy temple, Samohik Arti in the evening of Jaisht Ashtami will be offered at 7.30 pm on June 6.
