KISHTWAR, Nov 23: A meeting of the Senior Citizens Council Kishtwar (SCCK) was held here, today under the leadership of K Ahmed Dev and R L Parihar its president.
The meeting demanded that the killing of senior BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar be unearthed immediately and the culprits responsible for this dastardly should be arrested.
It said thought the SIT constituted to probe the killing has got some vital clues in the case but the main demand of both the communities is to bring the murderers and master mind of killing to limelight so that the faith among both the communities could be restored and the gulf created by this unfortunate incident could be removed. Demanding that the real culprits be brought to book who wanted to create communal disturbances in the Kishtwar town by their designs, Council said that the investigation be taken to its logical conclusion. The meeting also prayed for the peace of departed souls and courage to bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
It also demanded that the NIA be issued directives to start investigation immediately so that the conspiracy behind the killings is unraveled.
Raj Parihar, M Lal Bhandari, G H Sheikh, Abdul Majid Shah, G Q Malik, G M Rahi, H R Bhatyar, J Raj, Roshan Sen, A Kumar, M R Sharma and Mohammed Munawar Bhat attended the meeting.
