Art 370 used as tool to snatch rights of OBCs: AIBCU

JAMMU, Aug 7: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today said that so called secular leaders of J&K used Article 370 as tool to snatch the rights of the State OBCs in particular and SCs and STs in general.
“Abdullah family and who sucked the blood of the poor people of the State in general and OBCs in particular under the garb of Article 370, must now tell the people that how Article 370 was an obstacle for the implementation of Apex Court’s judgment on Mandal Commission Report of 1992,” the executive members of AIBCU said in its meeting held here today.
The Union leaders said that these leaders who ruled the State, ruined the majority population of the State i.e. OBCs and left them for starvation. “J&K has 70% Muslim population and among this more than 50% are OBCs. With Hindu OBCs, the OBC population in J&K goes above 60% but these Muslim leaders never cared for the constitutional rights of the State OBCs and stopped with 2% quota which never matures,” the members said.
The OBC leaders said that these rulers neither implemented State Constitution nor Indian Constitution, so no one could claim that natural flow of justice was the custom of the State. They lambasted so called secular leaders who don’t even understand the meaning of secularism, now pleading the abrogation of Art 370 as unconstitutional.
“The utterance of Dr Abdullah to go to the Supreme Court against abrogation of Article 370 should not expect any benefit as the judgement of the same court on Mandal report could not get any respect from Abdullah family, neither from Gulam Nabi Azad and Congress in order to continue the loot of constitutional rights of the poor,” the speakers said.
