JAMMU, Nov 19: Art of Living is organizing a multi-stakeholder conference on “Kashmir: Back to Paradise” on November 23 at Abhinav Theatre.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of the Art of Living will be the main speaker while as Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju will be the chief guest.
The objectives of the conference are discussing ways to boost economy, skill development, education, employment and promoting art and culture from the Valley and collaborating on solutions towards a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.
Thematic papers on highly relevant subjects will also be presented at the conference followed by interactive discussions. The conference will provide a platform to diverse stakeholders from Jammu and Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention here that Art of Living has been deeply involved in conflict resolution and has also been working with various stakeholders in the Valley.
Kashmir, a land of celebrated traditions, peace, tranquility and ideological diversity has been passing through a state of turbulence due to protracted conflicts for over two decades. The continued unrest has resulted in an erosion of the social and cultural ethos as well as in the economic and social development of the State.
