JAMMU, Dec 3: Internationally acclaimed Sculptor, Ganesh Kumar Sharma’s art works were displayed at National Art Exhibition ‘Beyond Limits 2024’ wherein art works by artists with disabilities from across India were showcased.
The exhibition ‘Beyond Limits’ is organized on World Disabled Day every year by Family of Disabled (FoD), an NGO, working for the people with disabilities since 1992.
The Exhibition was inaugurated on November 30, 2024 at ‘Arpana Art Gallery’ Academy of Fine Arts and Literature, New Delhi by the chief guest, Sunil Anand, Managing Director and CEO, Hospimedica Group of Companies in the presence of guest of honour, MBL Bhargava, Trustee – Letz Dream Foundation.
Ajeet Kour, Chairperson Academy of Fine Arts and Literature, New Delhi was also present on the occasion.
The event featured 87 artists with different disabilities from across the country and through their art they showcased their creativity skills.
The exhibition will remain on display till December 9, 2024.
Ganesh Kumar Sharma was the only Sculptor from Jammu and Kashmir UT selected for this prestigious National Art Exhibition.
He is working and promoting the art and culture of J&K for more than 45 years.
