JAMMU, July 11: Artemis Hospitals Gurgaon today launched a free cardiology camp for adults and paediatric patients in Jammu.

As per a statement, the camp aims to provide free check-up to the patients in Jammu. Through the camp, the hospital said, it hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden and provide quality medical care to those in need.
On the opening day of the camp today, a paediatric cardiac care OPD was organized by the team of expert doctors from Ascoms Artemis Heart Centre, Jammu, including Dr Nidhi Rawal, Head, Paediatric Cardiology, Dr Annie Arvind, Associate Consultant, Paediatric Cardiology, Dr Neeraj Gupta, Consultant Cardiology, Dr Varun Gupta, Consultant Cardiology, Dr Karan Dang, Consultant Cardiology. The team successfully screened number of kids and adult patients.
“We believe that every person deserves access to quality medical care, regardless of their financial situation. With our paediatric cardiac camp, we hope to save the lives of children who otherwise would not have access to this critical care,” said Dr Nidhi Rawal, Head Paediatric Cardiology, Artemis Hospitals.
Dr Annie Arvind, Head Associate Consultant, Paediatric Cardiology from Artemis Hospitals, said, “as paediatric cardiologists, our goal is to provide the best possible care for children with heart conditions, while also focussing on preventive measures to ensure a healthy heart in the future.
“With advanced technology and multidisciplinary approach, we are able to diagnose and treat a wide range of congenital and acquired heart defects in children of all ages. Hence, it is very important to diagnose well on time.”
Claiming that early detection and prevention is a key to a healthy heart, the hospital has invited all to take advantage of the free heart check-up at the camp organised in Jammu.
