SRINAGAR, Oct 12: ARTO Baramulla Mubashir Jan inaugurated vehicle inspection-cum- road safety awareness camp at Fruit Mandi Sopore, here today.
The purpose of the programme was to provide reliable and prompt services about renewal of fitness certificate, renewal of permit, renewal of driving license and renewal of service licenses and other issues pertaining to the drivers and fruit growers.
ARTO Mubashir Jan and Inspector Majid Ahmad Shah along with other officials discussed threadbare issues related to the fruit growers and transporters of the Fruit Market during the camp.
ARTO also gave a patient hearing to the long pending issues of the fruit growers and transporters and assured them all possible help in the future related to their licenses and smooth passage of trucks along the highway. ARTO also highlighted the role of drivers during the ongoing pandemic to transport essential communities.
