JAMMU, Jan 28: Arudev I Care for Vision hospital Jammu has organised a free eye camp here today.
Dr D P Gupta, Consultant Eye Surgeon (Retd) said the eye check-up camp aimed to provide comprehensive eye care services to the local community, especially poor people who cannot afford treatment. Free eye examinations, vision tests, and expert consultations were provided during the camp.
Dr Gupta said, “In the camp we examined 60 patients and out of them three patients of very poor background were treated by implanted free of cost IOC (Intraocular lenses).”
Dr D P Gupta, Consultant Eye Surgeon is the grandson of Dr L C Gupta, the founder of Gupta Eye Lotion. “I want to continue my family legacy to serve poor people and this camp from now will be a regular feature and will be held every Sunday between 10:30 AM to 12 Noon at Arudev I Care for Vision hospital, Sainik Colony, Jammu.”
