Arun tours Sumb villages, highlights achievements of Modi Govt

SAMBA, Aug 19: Holding a series of meetings with the party workers and supporters at block Sumb, BJP leader Arun Sharma highlighted achievements of Modi Government at Centre.
He explained that in the last one year, all farmers were covered under the PM Kisan Yojana while special fund of Rs 25,000 crore was provided for completion of housing projects for the middle class people besides enactment of law against triple talaq, laying foundation stone of grand temple of Lord Ram, revocation of Article-370, Citizenship Amendment Act, etc.
Arun Sharma alleged that during the COVID-19 pandemic, workers of opposition parties did not come forward for distributing ration to poor and needy. “They (opposition parties) have even failed to appreciate and motivated the Corona warriors and only agenda of these parties is to distort the image of India, which is emerging as one of the main powers in world,” he said and added that BJP workers would never allow such negative elements to mislead common masses of the country.
Arun Sharma said that PM Narendra Modi is taking India to new heights and making it a global leader. “For the first time since Independence, we have got such a Prime Minister who has the capacity to take on countries like China and Indian masses are proud of Narendra Modi for his vision and leadership qualities,” he said
The BJP leader also highlighted the positive impact of scrapping Article 370, development measures taken for the region and welfare of common masses.
During the tour, Arun Sharma was also interacted with people and listened to their grievances. Locals drew attention of the BJP leader towards certain issues, such no proper road connectivity, unemployment, unscheduled power cuts and grievances of VDC members.
The BJP leader was accompanied by Ashok Singh, Tilak Raj, Razor Singh, Raspal Singh, Bhagat Ram and others.
