Arunachal Pradesh assembly & CBI raids in Delhi Sectt rock Lok Sabha

NEW DELHI: The controversy over Arunachal Pradesh assembly session and CBI raid in the Delhi Chief Minister’s secretariat rocked the Lok Sabha today as the Opposition Congress and AAP Members trooped into the Well and raised slogans.
While Congress Members had given notices of adjournment for raising issue of the Arunachal Pradesh assembly session and other related development, the AAP wanted suspension of Question Hour for discussing the issue of CBI raids in the secretariat of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. However, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan disallowed all notices of adjournment, including those for the above two issues.
The Opposition Members mobbed the Well and resorted to slogan shouting over their respective issues forcing the Chair to proceed with the Question Hour business amid din.
AAP Member Bhagwant Mann reached near the Speaker’s desk and waved some papers to draw her attention over his party’s issue.
He was counselled by AITC leader in the House Sudip Bandyopadhyay to change his position. While Congress and the AAP Members raised slogans in the Well, some Opposition Members stood at their respective seats to express their support. (UNI)
