JAMMU, Oct 24: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sarwal and inspected the facilities and services being provided to the patients there.
He was accompanied by Medical Superintendent, Dr. Sunil Kailu; Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Vishal Raina and a team of healthcare professionals during his visit.
During inspection, Gupta visited various sections of the hospital including Medicine, OPD, Physiotherapy, ENT, Orthopaedics, Emergency Ward and Dental Section.
He also interacted with patients & staff and gathered feedback on the quality of care and the availability of essential services.
Interacting with patients at OPDs, the MLA emphasized the need for maintaining high standards of healthcare services.
He assured the public that his focus is on ensuring that the hospital remains adequately equipped to serve the public.
During discussion with the hospital administration, Gupta raised concerns about the need for adequate parking space.
He also discussed the importance of ambulance services, urging the administration to ensure that ambulances are always on standby mode to respond critical situations.
The BJP leader encouraged medical personnel to continue serving with the spirit of compassion.
Rajesh Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Atul Bakshi, Amrik Singh, Ashok Gandhi, Bubnesh Gupta, Ravi Khajuria, Rajinder Bali and Madan Dutta also accompanied the MLA.
