NEW DELHI, Nov 19: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has become the second most followed Indian politician on Twitter with the number of his followers crossing the six million mark.
“And … @ArvindKejriwal crossed the 6 million mark on @twitter,” AAP’s social media chief Ankit Lal tweeted.
The Aam Aadmi Party chief is the second most followed politician on twitter after Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has over 16 million followers.
Since his days as a social activist, Mr Kejriwal has used the social media to connect with the people. As a Chief Minister of Delhi, too, Mr Kejriwal has been regularly connecting with people.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is also among the most-followed Indian politicians on Twitter.
However, he has a fewer number of followers compared to Mr Kejriwal. (UNI)
