JAMMU, Nov 21: MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta today said that road connectivity is a crucial aspect of BJP’s developmental agenda as improving infrastructure not only enhances the daily lives of residents but also lays the foundation for long-term growth and progress in the region.
He said this while kick-starting blacktopping work of road in Kabir Colony, Ward No. 40 along with its allied links. This project will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 28 lakhs.
Arvind Gupta underscored the BJP-led Government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing infrastructure across Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that such projects would not only enhance road connectivity but also contribute to the region’s socio-economic growth by easing access to various facilities and opportunities. “The macadamization of roads in Kabir Colony reflects our continued focus on grassroots-level development, ensuring that every resident has access to better roads and infrastructure,” he said.
He further added that this initiative is part of the larger developmental agenda aimed at improving connectivity in every corner of the constituency. “Improving road infrastructure is one of the top priorities of the Government. It is essential for the overall development of Jammu West and will provide a better transport system for local businesses, schools, and healthcare centers,” Gupta remarked.
Arvind Gupta apprised the residents of Ward 40 about several upcoming development projects that are currently in the pipeline, which are aimed at further enhancing infrastructure and improving the quality of life in the area. These projects include upgrades to roads, water supply systems, and public amenities, he added.
Later, MLA Arvind Gupta took the opportunity to interact directly with the people of Kabir Colony and listened to their concerns and feedback. He assured the residents that the Modi Government remains committed to addressing their needs and that their concerns will be taken into consideration as part of the ongoing and future development plans.
On the occasion, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Ex-Councillor Neelam Nargotra, Executive Engineer Sandeep Gupta, JE Kunal Dogra, BJP workers Yashpal Shivgotra, Chaman Lal Bhagat, and Abhishek Sharma were also present.
