Arya Pratinidhi Sabha approves re-registration, major donation

JAMMU, July 28: The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Jammu and Kashmir convened a meeting today at Arya Samaj Rehari Colony, Jammu, under the leadership of president Narender Trehan and Ved Parchar Adishtha Master Chuni Lal.
The meeting saw full attendance from all general council members of Arya Samaj across J&K. During the session, the general body unanimously adopted a resolution for the re-registration of the society, marking a crucial step towards strengthening the organization’s legal and operational framework. Additionally, a resolution to donate Rs 1 lakh to the Irda Kanya Gurukul in Gari was approved.
The audited balance sheets for the financial years ending on 31st March 2022, 2023 and 2024 were tabled, reflecting the organization’s financial transparency and accountability. Furthermore, the working committee of Arya Samaj Gandhi Nagar received formal approval, ensuring the smooth functioning and administration of its activities.
The meeting featured robust participation from the general secretaries and presidents of various Arya Samaj branches, who shared insightful views on spreading the teachings of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati throughout J&K. The discussions highlighted a collective resolve to leave no stone unturned in propagating the Vedic message.
President Narender Trehan emphasized the importance of unity and dedication in achieving the Sabha’s goals. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing the spiritual and social mission of Arya Samaj in the region.
