Arya Pratinidhi Sabha holds Shanti Yagya, Ved Prachar programme

JAMMU, May 26: Arya Pratinidhi Sabha with the coordination of Arya Samaj Mandir Bhaderwah held a Shanti Yagya and Ved Prachar Programme from May 19 to 25 at various places in Bhaderwah town and its surrounding areas including Arya Samaj Mandir Bhaderwah, Vasuki Naag temple Bhaderwah, Arya Samaj Chinta, Arya Samaj Bhalara, Khailaini and Malothi etc.
The Shanti Yagya was performed to seek blessings of the almighty for the safety of the people of the area from recent natural calamities. A large number of local residents daily participated in the Shanti Yagya which was performed by Acharya Vidya Bhanu Shastri Ji, a renowned Vedic scholar from Jammu and Opender Arya Bhajnopadeshak from Chandigarh.
The team also visited different areas and found that much damage was caused to the houses of the people and the people are terrified and were passing sleepless nights in the open. The Samaj has appealed the State and Central Governments to provide liberal relief and sufficient grants for immediate rehabilitation of the sufferers of the natural calamity.
The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha is represented by Bharat Bhushan Arya its president and a team of 10 representatives while Arya Samaj Bhadarwah is represented by Jai Gopal Gupta, its patron, Jaswant Singh Charak, its president and other members.
