JAMMU, Jan 3: Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, today announced 100 fresh scholarships for J&K students. This scholarship will be given to 50 girls and 50 boys. While 50 percent scholarship will be provided by the Aryans, rest 50 percent will be financed in the shape of education loan.
The scholarship was announced in a press conference, held here today. Amanpreet Singh, Admission Coordinator, J&K, while speaking on the occasion, said that the scholarship will be exclusively on merit cum means basis in various courses being run by Aryans Group.
He disclosed that Aryans has already started admissions for its 12th batch in various courses like B Tech, LEET, LLB, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, B COM, B Sc (Agri), BA, B Ed, GNM, ANM, MA (Edu), Polytechnic Diploma etc.
He further said that Aryans J&K students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU merit list, he added.
“To support financially weaker sections of the society, Aryans has started many scholarship schemes. The group is admitting students under Dr Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, Late M R Kataria Memorial Scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship Scheme, etc,” Amanpreet Singh said and added that the interested students can give a missed call on toll free helpline number 1800-30000-388 or visit Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in.
It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh-Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus.
