JAMMU, Feb 17: Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, has joined hands with Canadian “University of the Fraser Valley” (UFV) British Columbia, Canada.
In this connection, Ravi Philips, Head of International Marketing, UFV and Andy Burn, Director, Canadian Immigration Centre visited the Aryans campus today. A seminar was also organized on the occasion which was attended by the students of different courses. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.
Ravi Philips informed that the students who have completed their Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Technology – Information Technology, or Bachelor of Technology – Computer Science Engineering from Aryans Group, will be awarded credits by the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), and they would get admission into the third year of Bachelor of Computer Information System at their campus in Canada.
Mr Philips further said that the collaboration would help to explore further opportunities for academic exchange, faculty collaboration and shared research besides providing study-abroad opportunities for the Canadian students at PTU.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that University of The Fraser Valley is one of the renowned universities of British Columbia, Canada and this collaboration will help Aryans students to get International educational exposure. He added that this type of collaborations help to organize student exchange programmes that are beneficial to both the students and the colleges.
It is to be mentioned that UFV is located in the Fraser Valley east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. UFV is fully accredited, public university that enrolls approximately 15,000 students per year. UFV has campuses and locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope and Agassiz.
