JAMMU, Nov 27: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh today organized a meet of J&K students with an objective to inspire them for innovations in and outside Kashmir.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group, while addressing the students, inspired and motivated them for more and more innovations outside the Valley to make life better.
It is to be mentioned that earlier to this, innovations namely First-Ever solar boat on Dal lake – “Aryans Solar Boat”, “Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Shikara App” to book online Shikara’s at Dal Lake; etc were launched by Aryans J&K students.
Prof BS Sidhu, Director Aryans Group said, “Aryans Group feel proud of their J&K students as they will carry forward the legacy of their seniors in the field of innovations and due to these reasons Aryans has emerged as a popular destination for the J&K students”. Over 2000 J&K students from various parts of Kashmir are studying in Aryans, he added.
On this occasion, Zamrood, Abdul Muqsit, Zahid Ahmad, Mohd Illyas, Tenzin and Danish Maqbool from B Tech Civil Engineering Semester 7; Abid Ayoub and Raif Nazir from B Tech Civil Engineering Semester 5 were honoured for their excellence in academic area.
Faculty members including Head of Department, Rajdeep Kaur, Assistant Prof Ishfaq Ahmad Rather, Assistant Prof Jehangir Rashid, Assistant Prof Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh etc were also present on the occasion.
