JAMMU, Jan 25: Dr Ravinder K Gupta, Professor, Department of Pediatrics, ASCOMS, Sidhra (Jammu) has received prestigious Fellowship Award (FIAP) at a function of National Conference of Indian Academy of Pediatrics, held at New Delhi on January 22.
The FIAP was awarded to Dr Gupta by the president IAP Dr S S Kamath, in presence of Union Secretary for Health and Family Welfare, Luv Verma. The conference was organised from January 22 to 25 and its theme was “ Quality Development for Every Child”. It was attended by over 8000 delegates from India and SAARC region.
Dr Gupta is among the 19 awardees selected among over 25,000 odd pediatricians from India for this outstanding contribution.
During the conference Union Ministers Dr Jitendra Singh, Dr Harshvardhan and Meneka Gandhi also shared their views on different topics.
