JAMMU, July 24: The employees of ASCOMS and Hospital, Sidhra (Jammu) have suspended their ongoing strike after getting wage hike assurance from the management.
The ASCOMS Hospital employees under the aegis of ASCOMS Employees Welfare Association (AEWA) have been on strike for last about 12 days demanding hike in wages. However, today the Association decided to suspend their strike after the Management assured that the installments for the month of June shall be credited in the accounts of the eligible employees by 27-07-2021.
For normal functioning of the Hospital, the general secretary of the AEWA advised all the employees to resume their respective duties immediately.
