JAMMU, May 28: All the employees of ASCOMS Hospital will go on strike on June 2 in support of their demands.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of working committee of ASCOMS Employees Welfare Association, Jammu, held today under the chairmanship of association president.
The meeting said that management of ASCOMS forced the association to resort to path of agitation, as it failed to settle the demands of the employees amicably whereas the employees have been making efforts for last more than a year to get their demands redressed.
The demands of the employees are hike in salary due to price rise of essential commodities, change of duty hours which are presently improper and improvement of service conditions of the employees.
The meeting among others was attended by association general secretary, Sachin Bali.
