JAMMU, Sept 22: Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) and Hospital organized 6th medical camp at village Phallain Mandaal in the outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
The camp held in association with Dogra Brahman Sabha, Jammu, was inaugurated by Dr RP Kudyar, Director Principal, ASCOMS Hospital in the presence of Dr SS Soodan, Director Medical, ASCOMS Hospital.
More than 250 patients including school children were examined by a team of doctors from ASCOMS Hospital including Dr Umesh Gandotra and Dr Priyanka (Obstt & Gyane), Dr Deepti and Dr Sakshi (Ophthalmology), Dr Mayank, Dr Sushant, Dr Rajesh (Medicine), Dr Asma Shaheen (Paediatrics), Dr Shivani Ranjan (Dermatology), Dr Varun and Dr Deepika (Dentistry) and Dr RN Dubey as well as Dr Pawan Kumar Nargotra (Community Medicine).
Besides providing free medicines to the needed patients, they were also briefed about the precautions to be taken for preventing various communicable and water borne diseases.
