JAMMU, Sept 17: A medical cum relief camp was organized by Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital (ASCOMSH), Sidhra (Jammu) at village Makwal in Phallayan Mandaal area of Nikki Tawi and at Purkhoo, Mishriwala area.
During the camp at Makwal, about 180 patients were observed by a team of doctors including Dr Ranjana Duggal and Dr Mangat Ram along with other supporting staff.
At Purkhoo a team of doctors including Dr Ish Kalra (Medicine), Dr Shivani Razdan (Skin), Dr Rushali Gupta and Dr Anjali Salathia (Eye), Dr Prachi Dubey and Dr Niharika (Obstt and Gynae) and Dr Asma Shaheen (Paediatrics) examined over 150 patients.
Free Medicines were also distributed amongst the patient besides imparting health education about prevention of water borne and other communicable diseases. Those requiring further treatment were advised to attend ASCOMSH.
The camps were conducted under the guidance of joint secretary, ASCOMS, DK Batra and Director Principal, ASCOMSH, Dr RP Kudyar.
