KISHTWAR, June 23: Asgar Hussain Khanji has been appointed as Block Congress Committee (BCC) president for Thathri in Kishtwar district.
A Congress spokesman said that in order to activate functioning of the party in Thathri block, the two office bearers were appointed with the consent of MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammed Saroori. Asgar Hussain was appointed as new Block president while Chaman Lal as general secretary of the BCC Thathri. Newly appointed office bearers have been asked to activate the party affairs in various Panchayats and in entire Thathri block.
