JAMMU, Nov 19: Children of Asha School participated in the Annual Sports Day meet with extreme enthusiasm and sportsman spirit at Jammu Cantonment, today.
Usha Singh, chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation of Tiger Division gave away Certificates of Excellence to winners.
Participants were divided into Junior and Senior groups. Suman Mathur, Principal, Asha School supervised and trained the students in games based on Fun and Learn theme. Running race, Lemon- Spoon race, Set your Block, Puzzle race, Ball in Bucket and musical chair were conducted.
Children of Asha School, despite being intellectually disabled, showed a commendable will to be self- reliant.
