KATHUA, Apr 1: In a meeting here today of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) held under the patronage of Prof. Ram Murti Sharma, new office bearers of the Parishad were elected.
Ashok Gupta was reelected as president of Kathua branch, Kuldeep Goswami as general secretary and Ditt Kumar Sharma as treasurer.
The newly elected team assured the house of their commitment for the cause of carrying out the objectives of BVP.
It was also resolved to organize a free eye checkup camp at Madli Block shortly.
The meeting was attended by G.S Kattal, Kuldeep Goswami, Jai Gopal Sharma and others.
