SOHANJANA, July 30: Convener of Indian Council for Enviro-Legal Action (ICELA) and former Legislator, Ashok Sharma and former Minister, Ch. Garu Ram here today inaugurated e-rickshaw outlet, C.S Motors at Main Bazar Sohanjana.
Congratulating S. Charanjeet Singh Bittu for opening e-rickshaw outlet to provide hassle free transportation mode to the general public, Sharma took commitment that e-rickshaws should be part of company’s commitment to sustainable transportation and reducing its carbon footprint to protect the mother earth from hazardous pollution.
“We are excited to inaugurate this e-rickshaw fleet,” said Sharma adding: “These vehicles will reduce pollution and improve air quality across globe. They are also more efficient than traditional rickshaws, which mean they save money on fuel costs.”
“We believe that e-rickshaws are the future of transportation in our city,” said Ch. Garu Ram.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Gourav Kapoor, S. Balvir Singh, Ashok Bhagat, Col. Som Nath, Ashok Khajuria, Kulvinder Singh, S. Kamalpreet Singh, S. Gurdarshan Singh, Karan and others.
