Ashok Koul chairs Jasrota, Hiranagar, Kathua Assembly Constituencies meetings

KATHUA, Apr 1: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir chaired 3 different meetings in Jasrota, Hiranagar and Kathua Assembly Constituencies here today.
Former Minister Rajeev Jasrotia, former MLA Kuldeep Raj, district President Gopal Mahajan, DDC Vice-Chairman Raghunandan, Rashpaul Verma, Vijay Sharma, and other senior leaders of party also accompanied Ashok Koul in these meetings.
Addressing during the meetings, Ashok Koul said that no other political party has ever cared to empower the people in the erstwhile J&K state, but now the BJP under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with our dedicated force of party cadre has ensured the welfare of every neglected and every deprived individual and section.
He said that after the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir is moving towards its long-sought goal of progress and prosperity and under the Modi Government, Jammu & Kashmir is not the talk of the town for terrorist-related activities, but it is known for the innovations and start-ups in different sectors.
Koul asked the BJP workers to share the significant political achievements of Jammu & Kashmir along with the unprecedented development that has put the erstwhile state on the national highlights in terms of socioeconomic development.
Rajeev Jasrotia said that the whole region has witnessed a remarkable transformation in infrastructure development, which has added to the increased agricultural, logistic, forest, industrial and other activities in the region.
He also credited Dr Jitendra Singh for his endeavours to bring major projects into the area.
Kuldeep Raj said that the Congress, NC and PDP have exploited the whole sections and hence a major chunk of the population of J&K, while favouring a few only all these years.
He said that now, the BJP, under the leadership of PM Modi has given a fair deal of development to every area and every person.
Gopal Mahajan asked the party workers to leave no stone unturned in taking the party’s mission to the ground level and get the party’s support converted to votes.
