RAMBAN, Apr 12: Ashok Kumar, considered as the most honest leader from Ramban district has been appointed as the new District President of Ramban Congress under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi AICC president, GA Mir PCC President Jammu and Kashmir and Raman Bhalla Working President JKPCC.
Ashok’s perpetual tussle to bring the status of District for Ramban Tehsil, establishment of Government Degree College in Ramban and sustaining true political space and relationship with remote and far flung people of Ramban attributed major success in his life.
He was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly (Jammu and Kashmir) in 2008 with an impressive lead of more than ten thousand votes. During his tenure, he also held the position of Chairman Petition Committee in J&K Legislative Assembly.
He thanked the senior leadership for giving him a new opportunity to work with more dedication and sincerity. He promised to deliver with all his organizational ability and experience.
