SUNDERBANI, July 12: Former legislator and Chairman, All J&K Kissan Union (AJKKU), Ashok Sharma today urged upon the Lt Governor, Chief Secretary and Revenue Secretary to post Tehsildars at Sunderbani, Siot and Bari Pattan in public interest ensuring disposal of the files with regards to Pahari, EWs, ST and SC certificates and day to day public functions without any delay.
While reaching to the demands of the workmen, farmers, youth and general public during his monthly meeting at Sunderbani, he also demanded release of 72 months wages of agitating PHE workers and exempting the road tax imposed by the UT Government on tractors used for agriculture purposes.
The Chairman, AJKKU urged the Government to withdraw Finance Department circulars dated 18-02-2021 and 06-10-2021 and demanded that medical allowance for the pensioners should be enhanced to Rs. 1000/- per month. He also stressed upon release of the payments of MGNREGA of 2017 of village Hathal and Parat and for the years 2019-20 for villages Siot and Palli.
The other issues projected by the delegations in the meeting, included renovation and repair of recently constructed Laiter to Kali Dab via Devak road, construction and completion of road and culvert Vyas Ghar to SnahNalla up to house of Barfi Ram Parat, widening of Thandapani to Taryath via Bari Gala road, construction of 4 Kms Highway to Bakhar Mora Talla road, black topping of GHSS Sunderbani to Roari Tala 2 Kms road, completion of pending side filling of Marchola to KalidabTaryath road by PMGSY.
Mr Sharma also stressed upon the passing of the different kinds of mutations including that of succession mutations in a time bound manner to avoid public inconvenience, teaching staff at HSS Devak, augmentation of water supply schemes at Devak, Peer Khana, (Saleri) and PDD Grid Station Devak and control of monkey menace in village Fulwari Sunderbani, release of funds of Ward number 11, Sunderbani by UED Department amounting to Rs 48.58 lacs pending vide letter no. DULVJ/2017/13695-96 dated 06-01-2018.
The delegations of PHE workers, Tractor Union, Pensioners Association, representatives of PRIs, NGOs and unorganized workers, youth and farmers met with Ashok Sharma and highlighted their problems.
