JAMMU, Sept 22: A team of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), Shree Sanatan Dharam Yuvak Sabha ( R) led by Moti Lal Malla its Marg Darshak, called on Dr. Arvind Karwani, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner here.
The RRC was briefed about the glorious history of this organization and its role played on important occasions especially to get the community’s problems solved. Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner was also apprised of the steps taken to rejuvenate it for the larger interests of the community and also importance for it to be a single platform of Kashmiri Pandits to raise their voice.
A charter of demands was tabled before Dr. Arvind Karwani highlighting the burning issues, grievances and demanded that the same to be addressed.
The demands included enhancement of cash relief to KP relief holders, posting of specially abled and ailing PM package employees at Jammu, routine temporary posting of PM package employees in Jammu on rotational basis, face lifting of TRT buildings, construction / digging bore wells in TRT Jagti, disbursement of ex gratia, and corpse funds, holding special camps and public darbars in camps and non camp localities and taking back the charge of different engineering wings for the betterment of TRT’s.
RRCM was urged to dispose of all pending files related to different matters of migrants on fast track basis. Also it was impressed upon to put forward the demand of fresh employment package for KP migrants and sanctioning of interest free loans to over aged youth.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner assured for rederessal of grievances without any delay and also for pleading the genuine demands before the Government.
