ASKPC discusses problems of migrants

JAMMU, Nov 25: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in a meeting held under the chairmanship of R K Raina its president discussed the problems of the displaced Pandits from Valley with regard to present election scenario in the State.
Mr Raina, while addressing the meeting said that no any political party in the State should take KPs for granted. He said KPs know the value of and importance of casting their vote which is right and duty of every citizen. He accused the leaders of various political parties of only showing false concern for KPs plight while they have done nothing in concrete for them.
Subash Chatta, secretary ASKPC said the political parties should mention their policies and programmes for KPs in their manifesto.
S K Bhat Malmohi asked KPs to maintain caution while casting their vote. He appealed them to fill up M Forms enmass. He asked the community to vote for those parties who assured political empowerment of the community.
Veena Gurtoo, B L Handoo, Ravi Rath and others addressed the meeting.
