ASKPC discusses problems of KPs

JAMMU, Mar 9: The political Affairs Committee of All State Kashmir Pandits Conference (ASKPC) held an meeting under the chairmanship of ASKPC, president R K Raina in which threadbare politics of both State and Central Governments towards KPs in exile were discussed in details.
Raina vociferously asked both the Governments that why Kashmiri Pandits are being deliberately and intentionally deprived of any political representation in present State Government or in the Parliament, in contract to all previous Governments in the State. He reiterated that KPs have been leading a miserable life under sub-human conditions for the last 26 years with no any firm or solid policy. He said both State and Central Governments have proved failure in mitigating the sufferings of KPs.
S K Bhat Malmohi, vice president in his speech said that both the Governments should ensure the fool proof security, political empowerment, institutionalize reservation of adequate number of seats for KPs in local bodies and State Assembly, enhancement of economic sustenance, before any step taken regarding the return and rehabilitation of migrants.
Bharat Bhushan Gosani, general secretary lambasted on the State Government that declaration of PMs package has not been implemented yet in full and majority of aspirants have overaged. He appealed the Government for implementation of recent Governor’s order regarding the medical and illegal encroachment of temple and shrine land by land mafia need to be exposed and criminal investigation to be started.
