ASKPC holds meeting, chalks out future programme

JAMMU, Aug 22: After launching of Prayaas programme aiming to revive, reorganize and rejuvenate All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, (ASKPC)– Shree Sanatan Dharam Marga Sabha, mother organization of Kashmiri Pandits, the adhoc body led by Moti Lal Malla , it’s chief Marg Darshak organised a meeting Sharda Mata Mandir premises which was attended by the Advisory Committee members, ASKPC district unit Marg Darshaks and Working Committee members.
They decided to hold convention in a very near future. For the first time some members who were till recently the office bearers of ASKPC , also attended the meeting.
The meeting decided to rejuvinate ASKPC for bringing back it’s lost glory the community people should be taken into confidence and their consent should be sought to hold election for it to become a representative body of Kashmiri Pandits like that in the past, in true sense of the word. It was also decided in the meeting that membership drive already undertaken by the Marg Darshaks in their respective districts should be speeded up.

Prof. G L Koul, C L Bhat, ASKPC vice president, M K Jalali, M K Yogi, Rakesh Koul, Raj Nath Raina, Ram Krishan Bhat, B B Gosaien, Veer Ji Bhat, M K Razdan, Anil Bhan,
Ashok Dhar, Ramesh Trakroo, Shiban Khaibri, Journalist, Sharda Nandan Bhat Subash Chatta and other members of Working Committee and Marg Darshak team members.
In the meeting it was also decided that the Adhoc Body of ASKPC will take up all the community related issues with the concerned Administrative Quarters.
