ASN School conducts Guru Vandana Chhatra Abhinandan Programme

Jammu, Aug 31: The management of ASN Hr Sec School, Channi Himmat, Jammu in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad (Shivalik Branch, Channi Himmat) Jammu today conducted “Guru Vandana Chhatra Abhinandan Programme” in the School premises, here today.
The Programme was organized to enhance the student-teacher relation in order to improve the education system and to inculcate moral values amongst the students. The function started with lighting  of traditional lamp, garlanding of Mother India followed by “Vande-Matram”.
Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the School highlighted the importance of such programmes in the School.
Ashok Gupta, Convener State Body presented the brief report about the programme.
Prof. D.R. Kotwal, Zonal Secretary, National Body Bharat Vikas Parishad presented the importance of Guru Vandana as per Gurukuls in the history and gave the symbolic representations of the same.
Chirag Arora of 12th Class, Ravi Kumar of 11th Class, Sanam Tasleem of 10th Class, Tehmina Tabassum of 9th Class, Amier Sultan of 8th Class, Mohd. Kaif of 7th Class and Bhumika Thakur of 6th Class were awarded through their teachers namely Sham Mohan Gupta, Pankaj Jasrotia, Sumanjeet Kour, Rahul Sharma, Nida Siddique, Kulvinder Kour and Vandana Trehan.
The Programme closed with National Anthem followed by the vote of thanks presented by the Trishla Gupta, President Shivalik Branch – J&K Bharat Vikas Parishad.
