SRINAGAR, Mar 11: Vigilance Organization Kashmir has booked the then Assistant Manager JKPCC, Unit-XI Kulgam, for accumulating disproportionate assets by indulging in corrupt practices.
A case FIR against Mohammad Shafi Shah, then Assistant Manager JKPCC Unit-XI Kulgam, has been registered on the outcome of verification conducted by Vigilance Organization Kashmir. The verification reveals that assets found are disproportionate to his (suspect) known source of income. Thus omissions and commissions on the part of this public servant constitute offences punishable under Section 5(1) (e), read with 5(2) J&K PC Act Svt. 2006 and further investigation taken up.
