At 2.2 deg C, Jammu witnesses season’s coldest night

JAMMU: The winter capital of the State witnessed coldest night with minimum temperature recorded at 2.2 degree Celsius.

”The minimum temperature in the winter capital was fluctuating between 4.0 degree to 4.5 degree but last night was season’s coldest with minimum temperature recorded 2.2 degree and maximum 7.4 degree”, an official of Met department here said.

He said earlier the coldest night was recorded with minimum temperature 3.6 degree on January 18 and 3.8 degree on December 24 last year. He said the night temperature would further dip in the coming days bringing more chill. (AGENCIES)
