ATM guard arrested for fraudulently withdrawing cash

JAMMU, May 10: Bakshi Nagar police arrested an ATM guard for fraudulently withdrawing cash.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Chaman Lal Kaul, son of late PN Kaul, a resident of Indira Vihar, Old Janipur with Police Station Bakshi Nagar stating that some unknown person(s) has withdrawn Rs 7.50 lakh from his account.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 61/18 under Section 420 RPC was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station conducted raid and apprehended the accused, who happens to be an ATM guard.
The accused has been identified as Maan Singh, son of Rashpal Singh, a resident of Phakwari Pagrwal, Tehsil Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Naresh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Pranav Mahajan, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
