JAMMU, Aug 3: The miscreants in Valley continued to pelt stones on oil tankers and its crew members.
According to the statement, SS Khorana, president, J&K Oil Tanker Association there is fear among the drivers and conductors of the oil tankers as some miscreants in the Valley continued to pelt stones on the oil tankers and injuring the crew members.
He appealed to the people of Valley to maintain peace so that oil tanker supplies can continue and regular supply of petroleum products could be provided to them.
He also appealed to the Government to protect the crew members of the oil tankers moving to Valley for supply. He also suggested the Government to move the oil tankers under security protection, which will assist to maintain day-to-day requirement of the petroleum products in the Valley.
