REASI, Feb 19: Police today foiled another attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued two animals besides arresting the accused, here at Arnas.
Acting on specific information that some persons along with bovine animals were on way towards Kashmir via Gool without any legal permission, a Police team led by SHO Arnas Sanjeev Sharma, rushed to village Bassan and rescued the animals from the possession of accused smugglers, identified as Karamat Ali of Budhan Mahore and Manzoor Hussain of Chaklas Mahore.
Both the accused persons have been arrested. In this regard, a case FIR No. 10/2016 U/S 188 RPC has been registered at Police Station Arnas.
