REASI, June 25: After going through rigorous 9 months “Basic Recruitment Training Course”, 604 constables of Jammu and Kashmir Armed/Executive Police took part in passing our parade of 15th Batch BRTC of J&K Police at STC Talwara here.

Dilbag Singh Director General of Police (DGP) was the chief guest on the occasion. Special DG CID J&K RR Swain, ADGPs SJM Gillani, Dr SD Singh Jamwal, T Namgyal, Mukesh Singh, MK Sinha, Danesh Rana, Director ACB Anand Jain, Commander 14 Sector Brigadier Harjoot Singh, DIG UR range Mohd Sulaiman Choudhary, DC Reasi Charandeep Singh and other senior officers of Civil, Police, Army, and relatives of the pass outs witnessed the parade.
Anil Kumar Katoch Principal STC Talwara presented welcome address and passed his best wishes to all the new members of police force who are passing out in this batch.
This batch 15th BRTC consists of highly qualified men hailing from different parts of J&K. Out of 604 trainees, 24 are Post Graduates, 54 are Graduates, 138 are 10+2, 220 are matriculate and 168 are middle pass. This Batch comprises of 476 jawans from Executive Police, 116 from IRP BNs and 12 jawans from Armed Police. In this Batch, 63 jawans recruited through Transparent Recruitment Policy, 489 SPOs whose work remained outstanding under Anti Militancy front, 3 converted from Follower to Constable and 49 jawans recruited through SRO-43.
They have undergone meticulous training and are passing out with flying colours with a motive to serve the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Besides this, trainees were also familiarized with crucial modern techniques.
R/Ct Sunil Kumar (Chest No. 534/STC Belt No. 696/IR-19th Bn) was clinched first position in BRTC 15th Batch and awarded one rank up (SgCt) on the spot by DGP of Police J&K.
DGP Dilbag Singh in his address welcomed the newly inducted members in J&K Police. DGP has also appreciated work and conduct of all the trainees and appreciated the determinations of this Institute for imparting quality training since its inception in 1998. DGP also paid his deep condolence to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police force who laid down their lives for enhancement of Nation.
