CHENNAI, Apr 28: German luxury car manufacturer Audi toady announced opening of its new world class showroom in the Textile City of Coimbatore.
The showroom, second in Tamil Nadu and fifth in southern India, was inaugurated by Mr Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India and Mr Anandakrishnan, Managing Director, Audi Coimbatore (Jahnvi Motors Private Limited), the exclusive dealer for Audi cars.
“Audi already has a strong presence in the southern market with showrooms in key markets like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi,” a company release said.
The opening of a new showroom in Coimbatore reflects Audi’s commitment to offer its customers with an unparalleled luxury experience of class defining products and world-class services that truly emphasize the core brand values of progressiveness, sophistication and sportiness,” Mr Michael Perschke said.
Spread over an area of 6102 sqft, the showroom has a honeycomb aluminium façade on the exterior.
The display area could accommodate six Audi cars.
The showroom would also house an Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive elements, where customers could order customized products and purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.
The entire Audi India Model range would be available for sale in Coimbatore.
Mr Michael said “we have been steadfast in expanding our network to achieve the target of selling at least 8,000 cars by the end of this year.”
“It is this ability to identify potential markets and tap them with right products that has helped us maintain our position as the fastest growing luxury car brand in India,” he added.
