VIJAYPUR, Samba, Feb 3: Father of Army man Aurangzeb, who was abducted and killed by terrorists in June last year by the terrorists in Pulwama and a retired Army General today joined BJP in the rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.
Mohammad Haneef, father of Aurangzeb, joined the BJP along with Lt Gen (retd) Rakesh Kumar Sharma in the presence of the Prime Minister.
Haneef on Saturday said that he liked the ideology of the BJP, which is working for the welfare of poor.
They were welcomed by the BJP State president Ravinder Raina and senior BJP leader and in-charge J&K affairs Avinash Rai Khanna.
Haneef also said that he was impressed by the vision of Modi.
He said that he is proud of his son, who sacrificed his life for the country and he wanted that every youth of Jammu and Kashmir should stand by the nation.
