DODA, Aug 2: A passenger auto rolled down into river Chenab near old bridge here today.
As per police sources, a passenger auto rolled down into river Chenab near old bridge at Pul Doda.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals and volunteers of NGO.
The ill fated auto has been retrieved from the river Chenab through a crane but nobody has been found in it.
It is presumed that the driver of the vehicle has drowned into the river. No human body has been recovered and the search operation will resume again tomorrow morning.
Doda Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
