JAMMU, Aug 10: Police today arrested a three-wheeler operator along with a large quantity of liquor in holy town of Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
Police intercepted auto No. 4932 JK02AA and arrested its driver Baisakhi Ram along with a large quantity of liquor, which he had smuggled into Katra town for selling among the people.
Police have registered a case against the accused and seized his three-wheeler.
Police parties headed by SDPO Katra Rajinder Katoch and SHO Katra Ashok Sharma made the arrest.
